Teaching in the Block

Block scheduling brings a range of teaching and learning opportunities. With it, come special challenges for holding student attention. This workshop teaches strategies to ensure material coverage in a schedule that offers more than time frames for which traditional curricular materials were written. Teachers will learn to adapt lessons. The presenter will demonstrate how effective the block is for teaching with mind to multiple intelligences and learning modalities. The presenter brings over 5 years of experience coaching teachers on providing students maximum learning in a block schedule high school.
